They played their home games in an epic stadium aptly titled THE KINGDOME because they also had the most exciting player who would ascend to his rightful claim of baseball's throne: AL MVP. His nickname was "The Kid", but he was a man who regularly humbled his peers. His name was KEN GRIFFEY JR. and his legacy would keep the Seattle Mariner's franchise alive despite a playoff drought (2002-2022) to dry out even the most loyal and rabid fan's heart.
